Dr Armstrong graduated from the University of New South Wales and trained in Anaesthetics at the St George Hospital. Fellowship training at the Childrens Hospital Camperdown and overseas at the University of Washington Medical Centre, Seattle USA and the Nuffield department of Anaesthetics, Oxford UK.
His current interests include cardiothoracic anaesthesia and perfusion, transoesophageal echocardiography and anaesthesia for Obesity surgery. He is a conjoint lecturer at the University of New South Wales and an anatomy demonstrator for the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.

Dr DaSilva graduated from the University of NSW and spent the early part of his career in Intensive Care medicine before commencing his anaesthesia training at St George Hospital, Sydney. He also trained at The Royal Hospital for Women, The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and St Vincent’s Hospital before completing his Fellowship year with NRMA CareFlight. Following this he worked as a retrieval specialist with NRMA CareFlight and the NSW Ambulance Helicopter Rescue Service.
His current clinical profile includes anaesthesia for plastic surgery, obstetrics, bariatric and upper gastrointestinal surgery, liver and colorectal surgery. He has a special interest in anaesthesia for trauma surgery and anaesthesia in the elderly and critically ill.

Dr DeSouza obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney, and completed anaesthetic training at St. George hospital. He worked at the Liver Transplant Unit in the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, and was an attending Cardiothoracic Anesthiologist at the University of Washington Medical Center.
His current interests include cardiothoracic anaesthesia, perioperative transoesphageal echocardiography, anaesthesia for liver surgery, and sedation for medical procedures.

Dr. Stephen Ford has both science and medical degrees from The University of Sydney. He undertook specialist anaesthetic training at Royal Prince Alfred and Royal North Shore Hospitals in Sydney and additional overseas training at St. George's Hospital, London and Sunnybrook and Women's Hospital, Toronto (Canada). He is a senior lecturer (conjoint) in anaesthesia at The University of NSW.

Dr Fransi has been a specialist anaesthetist at St George Public Hospital since 2005. He trained in anaesthesia at major teaching hospitals in Melbourne before moving to Sydney for his fellowship year.
He practices at St George Public and Private Hospitals, and Kareena Private Hospital with privileges at other private hospitals in Sydney.
He has experience in all areas of anaesthesia, but his areas of expertise include anaesthesia for cardiothoracic surgery (heart and lung surgery), liver and upper gastrointestinal surgery, major abdominal cancer surgery, and obstetric anaesthesia.
His areas of interest include techniques for minimizing blood transfusion, the use of bedside tests of blood coagulation, and the use of ultrasound technology both in general and regional anaesthesia.
He runs the weekly departmental meetings at the public hospital and is involved with specialist training.

Dr Guy obtained his medical degree from the University of Sydney. He completed his specialty training in anaesthesia at both Concord and St George Hospitals, with additional training at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital in the United Kingdom. He is currently a visiting specialist at St George Hospital, Sutherland Hospital, St George Private Hospital and Kareena Private Hospital.
He has wide ranging clinical experience. His current practice includes anaesthesia for major orthopaedic surgery, urology, colorectal surgery, general surgery, maxillofacial surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology.

Dr Harper undertook his medical training at the University of New South Wales, and proceeded to Anaesthesia training at St George Hospital, including experience from St Vincent's, The Childrens' Hospital Westmead, The Royal Hospital for Women and The Canberra Hospital. He undertook his Provisional Fellowship with the Sydney Aeromedical Retrieval Service, before completing five years as a Staff Specialist with the Ambulance Service of NSW Aeromedical Unit.
His current practice profile includes anaesthesia for Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgery, Vascular Surgery and Interventional Radiology, Laparoscopic Liver and Hepatobilliary Surgery, and Obstetric Care.
Dr Harper is a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at the University of New South Wales, and participates with in an active research program with UNSW and the Black Dog Institute examining anaesthesia and treatments for depression.

Dr Christine Huang obtained her medical qualifications from the University of Tasmania and completed her anaesthetic training at the Prince of Wales and St George Hospitals in Sydney.
Her current clinical profile includes anaesthesia for orthopaedic, breast, endocrine, ENT surgery and endoscopic procedures. She has a keen interest in regional anaesthesia particularly for post operative pain relief.

Dr Jones is a graduate of Sydney University Medical School. He trained in anaesthesia at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney; The Children's Hospital, Westmead; Sydney Children's Hospital and St Luc Hospital, Brussels, Belgium.
He has a wide experience in all areas of anaesthesia, but has a special interest in hand and orthopaedic surgery, daystay surgery, ear nose and throat surgery, paediatric anaesthesia and obesity surgery. He has taught physiology and pharmacology to anaesthesia trainees on a weekly basis at St George Public hospital since 2000.
He also enjoys music, computer programming and hiking.

Dr Lambros is a Visiting Specialist at St George Hospital and the Royal Hospital for Women Randwick. He trained at the University of NSW and gained specialist qualifications in Anaesthesia at the Prince of Wales and St George Hospitals.
His clinical interests include Paediatric and Regional Anaesthesia (especially for shoulder and elbow surgery) as well as the use of ultrasound (including echocardiography) in wider anaesthetic practice.
He is also involved in investigating major allergic reactions related to anaesthesia (anaphylaxis) for the benefit of patients both at the public and private institutions in which he works.

Dr Lightfoot completed his medical degree at the University of Sydney and trained in Anaesthesia at the Prince of Wales and St George Hospitals in Sydney.
His current clinical practice includes anaesthesia for bariatric, shoulder, plastic and ENT (including paediatric) surgery. He is particularly interested in the use of ultrasound for regional anaesthetic nerve blocks.
He has always had a passion for the Australian environment and completed a Master of Environmental Management at the UNSW in 2006. He is currently a NSW councillor on the Council of the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF).
The combination of his passion for the environment and his work as a medico has led to an interest in "Green Hospitals".

Dr Mark Stewart graduated in Medicine from the University of Sydney in 1987. After an Internship and Residency at St George Hospital, Mark worked in London before commencing his training as a Specialist Anaesthetist. During that time he worked in various sub-specialty areas of Anaesthesia including Obstetric Anaesthesia at Royal Women's Hospital, Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia at St Vincent's Hospital and Paediatric Anaesthesia at The Children's Hospital, Westmead. Furthering his sub-specialty interest in Paediatrics, Mark undertook a Provisional Fellowship year at The Children's Hospital before taking a position as part time Staff Specialist.
Dr Stewart currently lives and works in the St George area with various public and private hospital appointments in the South Eastern Sydney and Illawarra Area Health Service. He has a particular interest in Anaesthesia for Paediatric Surgery, Paediatric Dentistry and Major Urological Surgery.
